this was our hike in mitzpe ramon. the first picture is from the peak of the crater wall we climed.  we started at the very bottom!  the second picture is the descent. very steep, very fun.  if only we knew it would be a 4 hour trek through the desert from then on.

it was so hot and deserted, literally, that the ground was black from the sun-burnt stones.  amazing weekend trip.
